 How to start this ActionScript Stuff?

ActionScript is a very young programming language. Every programmer knows it, and it is growing very fast.
You may herd of ActionScript1.0 and ActionScript2.0. The ActionScript2.0 comes with the Flash new version MX2004, and MXProfessional 2004. Before you get confused about which one you shoold learn and use, I coold tell you some facts about..
- ActionScript2.0 didn't come out from out from nowhere, it is developed from ActionScript1.0.
- The syntax of both ActionScript1.0 and ActionScript2.0 are still the same.
- The new Flash components is built on ActionScript2.0 .
- New version of Flash accepts both ActionScript1.0 and ActionScript2.0.

And in fact?you don't need to make decision about stand on which side because?
- If you start to learn ActionScript2.0, you'll understand ActionScript1.0 as well.
- If you only learn ActionScript1.0, you can make things as much as you want, as powerfol as you want still.

I might have some points about this listed in order as following?
- Understand the Flash programming environment, the exact relation between Frames,MovieClips and scripts(the virtual thing, the thing you won't see but will created and get effect by writing ActionScripts).
- Understand the concept of Object Oriented Programming.
- Knowing how to use ActionScript to create objects that you can see.
- Knowing how to use ActionScript to create objects that you can't see.
- Knowing how to make strategy or ActionScript for your project.
